AVIO lists bottled drinking water in three packaging sizes: 500ML, 1.5L, and 19L. If you are comparing the options, begin with the size of the container and how you plan to use it. This guide explains the listed formats and the questions worth checking before placing an order.
The three listed bottle sizes
500ML, also written as 0.5L: This is the smallest of the three listed formats. When comparing it with the larger options, consider whether you prefer separate bottles that can be distributed individually.
1.5L: A 1.5-litre container holds the same volume as three 500ML containers. That comparison can help you calculate the total volume for an order without assuming that different bottle sizes have the same price per litre.
19L: This is the largest format listed by AVIO. Before choosing it, check how you will handle and dispense the water. If you intend to use a dispenser, ask AVIO to confirm compatibility with your equipment.
You can view the current range on the AVIO bottle sizes page.
Compare containers and total volume separately
First decide whether you need individual bottles or larger containers. Next, work out the total volume you want to order. These are separate decisions: a larger bottle contains more water, but it does not automatically answer how many containers you need.
For example, two 1.5L bottles and six 500ML bottles both contain three litres in total. They provide different numbers of containers. For a shared occasion, that difference may matter when deciding how you will distribute the water.
Avoid using bottle size alone to estimate a person’s drinking needs. This comparison describes packaging volumes, not a recommended daily intake.
Confirm the practical details before ordering
Check the current price, stock availability, delivery arrangements, and order quantities directly with AVIO. If you are considering the 19L option, also ask whether any container-return, deposit, or equipment requirements apply. Do not assume these terms from the packaging size.
The AVIO contact page is the place to request those details. You can also return to the AVIO website to check the latest product information before deciding which format suits your order.
